Young morning dove and mother
I shot this from my deck today and then fooled around with the toning features in Aperture. It did a good enough job. The morning dove on the upper right is the baby -- I have other shots of it still be fed by it's mother. My backyard and deck have been a safe haven for these birds, and several broods of robins, cardinals, cat birds, mocking birds, and who knows what else.... It has been delightful to watch the parents do such a nice job of caring for and protecting them.
