Orange Mum
If you can't tell by now, orange is one of my favorite colors. It never used to be, but my preferences have changed over time. This particlar group of flowers was from an arrangement that I picked up at my local Harris-Teeters grocery store and I wanted to photograph them before they started to die. Lovely little things, aren't they?

Choleus
I love the texture of this plant, not to mention the many color variations that are available. . . .

Red Hybiscus
A traditional tropical flower, Hybiscus can be found in north American nurseries during the summer months. While in Roatan, Honduras, I saw these flowers in abundance, and watch local Garafuna people make jelly from the flower buds.
